IRTG 1243 member, Lisa Amrhein, is recipient of Entrepreneurial Award
Recognition from "Global Challenges for Women in Math Sciences"

For the second time (2018 and 2019), Lisa Amrhein, doctoral researcher in the A17 Biostatistics group of Prof. Dr. Christiane Fuchs, Institute of Computational Biology, Helmholtz Zentrum Munich, has received the Entrepreneurial Award of the program "Global Challenges for Women in Math Sciences". This program is part of a TUM Diversity initiative, and aims at promoting and demonstrating excellency of female mathematicians as well as developing international contacts and cooperations. The award comprises funding for the presentation of research results at an international conference and a research stay at an international research institution.
