Flow Cytometry introductory course

For beginners, those who may be planning on using FACS in the future, or those simply interested in understanding the method

07.12.2018

Date: Friday, December 7, 2018
Trainer: Dr. Lisa Richter, Manager of the BMC FACS core facility
Location: Biomedical Center (BMC), room N.B 00.002
Time: 10:00 - 17:00

A one-day FACS course for beginners and for those who may not even be working with FACS, but would like to understand how it works and what you can do with the technique. This is also appropriate for students with little or no wet lab experience.
The course is approx. 2/3 in lecture form, explaining the theory behind the technique, and 1/3 in the FACS lab, learning about the machines and processes on site.

The cooperation with Lisa Richter and the BMC Core Facility Flow Cytometry is gratefully acknowledged!
