Fabian Theis and Carsten Marr receive Erwin-Schrödinger-Preis 2017

Recognition for outstanding interdisciplinary basic research

Fabian Theis, Carsten Marr, Laleh Haghverdi (EMBL-EBI, UK) and Timm Schröder (ETH Zürich, Basel) have been awarded the 2017 Erwin Schrödinger Prize in recognition of their collaborative project showing how data recorded from individual blood cells can be used to determine their fate.

The Erwin Schrödinger Prize is endowed with 50,000 Euros for outstanding achievements in interdisciplinary basic research involving medicine, natural sciences and engineering.
