A07 Clonal evolution of high risk acute myeloid leukemia
Acute Myeloid Leukemia is the most frequent acute leukemia in adults and has a poor prognosis due to a high frequency of disease relapse after chemotherapy. We aim at understanding the mechanisms of clonal evolution from diagnosis to relapse in patient samples and model systems. These approaches will help to understand the mechanisms of therapy resistance in AML and to develop strategies to avoid relapse and improve prognosis.
